SEWING WORKS

Sewing Works is a creative, supportive environment, where knowledge, skill and creativity are nurtured to provide people with an opportunity to perfect the art of sewing.

I first started sewing as a child, excited by the idea of making clothes for my dolls! As I grew, my interest in fashion blossomed and I developed my skills and experience through college fashion courses, working for high end designers and eventually running my own couture wedding dress business for many years.

My experience of bringing up two kids has reaffirmed my belief in the creativity and enjoyment to be had in sewing - fancy dress and school projects have been a great vehicle to pass on my skills.
